This page is for City Delivery users who wish to permanently delete their account and all associated personal data.

City Delivery is a local delivery service app for El-Mahmoudeya City, Egypt, connecting customers with drivers for delivery services.

How to Delete Your Account

Steps to request account deletion:

Open the City Delivery app on your device
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
Tap "Request Account Deletion"
Check your email for a 6-digit verification code (OTP)
Enter the code in the app to confirm deletion
Your account and all data will be permanently deleted

Note: You must have an email address registered in your account to receive the verification code. If you don't have an email, please add one in your profile settings first.

What Data Will Be Deleted

The following personal data will be permanently deleted:

Account Information: Name, phone number, email address, password
Profile Data: Language preferences, account settings
Order History: All orders you created, including order items and details
Delivery Offers: All offers you submitted (if you're a driver) or received (if you're a customer)
Receipts & Photos: All uploaded receipt images and ID documents
Addresses: All saved delivery addresses
Payment Information: Payment transaction history and credit balance
FCM Tokens: Push notification tokens
Driver Application Data: Driver registration requests and associated documents (if applicable)

Data Retention Period

Retention Period: 30 days

After you submit your deletion request and verify the OTP code, your account will be immediately deleted. All personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.

During the 30-day period after account deletion, some anonymized data may be retained for legal compliance purposes only.

Data That May Be Retained

⚠️ Important: Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

Financial transaction records (required for accounting and tax purposes)
Anonymized order statistics (no personal identifiers)
Data required for legal compliance or dispute resolution

This retained data will not include any personally identifiable information.
